What do you think of our class topics?

Students in our 10th grade Language Arts classes have been working diligently on the study of Transcendentalism.  They have examined works by Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson, and have been writing really awesome pieces of poetry, papers, and creative writings.  It has been an enlightening experience for all.

9th grade students have been reading To Kill a Mockingbird aloud in class.  We have been doing fun games with this book, like playing fly swatter vocabulary and texting in answers to trivia related to the book.

As a language teacher, I'm very excited about the the ability to communicating with students in my classroom. It has been awesome for my students to blog about their books we are reading , weekend plans, courses, etc. and then have have feedback from all of them.
